Breaded Pork Chops Recipe:

These are really great. By browning them before baking, the juices are sealed in and the crust is crisp. Fresh bread crumbs really are best...and of course it only takes a few seconds in the food processor (I really like to use Oroweat Health Nut Bread, it gives the breading a bit of added texture).

                                                        Breaded Pork Chops

1 Cup fresh bread crumbs                             2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt                                         2 tablespoons 2% or Whole milk
1/4 teaspoon pepper                                    2 pounds pork chops
1/2 to 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning              1/4 Cup Canola oil

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300 Degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil; set aside.

In a shallow dish combine breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and Italian Seasoning.

In another shallow dish, whisk together eggs and milk. Dip pork chops into egg mixture then dredge in bread crumb mixture, coating evenly.

Fry pork chops in oil on medium heat until browned on both sides, turning once, 5 to 10 minutes. remove and drain.

Place chops on baking sheet and bake 30 minutes to cook thoroughly.
