We are fragile, we are human...

"We may shine, we may shatter,
We may be picking up the pieces here on after,
We are fragile, we are human,
We are shaped by the light we let through us,
We break fast, cause we are glass.
Cause we are glass."

From Thompson Square's song "Glass"

On solitude...

"It is only when we silent the blaring sounds of our daily existence that we can finally hear the whispers of truth that life reveals to us, as it stands knocking on the doorsteps of our hearts." ~K.T. Jong

Inside myself is a place where I live all alone, and that's where I renew my springs that never dry up.  ~Pearl Buck

"In a soulmate we find not company but a completed solitude."  ~Robert Brault

Another Mary Oliver...

"Still, what I want in my life is to be willing to be dazzled---to cast aside the weight of facts and maybe even to float a little above this difficult world. "

Letting go...

"To live in this world, you must be able to do three things: to love what is mortal; to hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends on it; and, when the time comes to let it go, to let it go."  — Mary Oliver
